Unidentified male speaker on the Fishermen’s Appeal for the families of the eight men lost in the Penlee lifeboat disaster (19/12/81). The appeal is separate from the disaster appeal based in Penzance. It had raised £177,000 by Christmas Eve but more donations have been received, pushing the total nearer to £250,000. The money will go directly to the families of the lost men. Male interviewer not identified.
