Description

Brian Hayes is joined by Ralph Whitlam, former Prime Minister of Australia, who was sacked by the Governer General, Sir John Kerr, who later wrote a book on the incident. Whitlam has now written a book in reply, entitled The Truth of the Matter. He talks about his book, and how he feels strongly the sacking and also the manner in which it was done was unjust.
