Description

Report following the end of the Iranian Embassy siege in London after SAS soldiers stormed the building. The gunmen, who killed one of the hostages, had been demanding the release of political prisoners in Iran. Iranian president Abolhassan Banisadr sent a telegram to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher to thank her for ending the crisis. Male reporter not identified (poss. Roger Cooper).
