Description

Report on the freezing by the Swiss authorities of bank accounts connected with the late president of Banco Ambrosiano, Roberto Calvi. The decision was taken after inquiries by the Bank of Italy into a missing 1.5 billion US dollars precipitated the collapse of the Ambrosiano group and the disappearance of Signor Calvi, who was found hanging beneath Blackfriars Bridge in London in 06/82.
