Description

John Stalker, Deputy Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, has announced that he will be resigning from his post to spend time with his family. He explains to press why he is leaving - the stigma of the Stalker affair in which he was accused of consorting with known criminals but cleared - but says he would accept the job of investigating Northern Ireland police again. He declines to comment on the Moors Murders.
