Description

Stuart Sommerland reports on the conflict between Uganda and Tanzania. Uganda claims to have advanced deep inside Tanzania, a claim which has been denied by the Tanzanian Government. Ugandan President Idi Amin has sent telegrams to the Secretary General of the United Nations, Dr Kurt Waldheim and the leader of the Organisation of African Unity, President Gaafar Nimeiry of Sudan complaining of Tanzanian aggression.
