Report on new evidence suggesting that the Birmingham Six (Hugh Callaghan, Patrick Joseph (Paddy Joe) Hill, Gerard Hunter, Richard McIlkenny, William (Billy) Power and John Walker), sentenced to life for the 1974 IRA Birmingham pub bombings, may have been wrongfully convicted. On claims the confessions were beaten out of the men, discrediting of forensics, and calls on UK Home Secretary Douglas Hurd for a retrial.
