- Description
- Brian Hayes is joined first by Tariq Ali, Editor of the newspaper, the Socialist Challenge. Richard Dobson, Chairman of British Leyland, was recorded covertly during a speech in which he made racist comments. The tape was given to the newspaper, who printed the story. Robert Carrier describes the best way to host a dinner party, what to cook, how many to invite, and the preparation issues. Stirling Moss joins Hayes at the Motor Fair at Earls Court to describe what makes a good driver: reaction time, concentration and fitness are the key elements. Rat research next, with John Nicholson, who has written a book entitled Habits, which is about human behaviour. Here he describes the differences between the rat tests and the human mind. Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, gave his opinion on the world in the year 2000, which provoked responses from the general public, who phoned in with comments. Horace Cutler, leader of the Greater London Council, gives his opinion on how he thinks the new Conservative rule of the council is going, and his own plans for council housing.
