- Tim Crook reports on an inquest into a fire in New Cross, South London, on 18/01/81 where 13 young black people died during a birthday party. The jury returned an open verdict but the victims’ relatives believe the fire was started deliberately in a racist attack. Includes interviews with relatives: Velvetina Francis, mother of Gerry Francis and Ena Gooding, mother of Andrew Gooding; campaigner John La Rose. (The victims were: Humphrey Geoffrey Brown, Peter Campbell, Gerry Paul Francis, Andrew Gooding, Roseline Henry, Patricia Johnson, Patrick Cummings, Owen Thompson, Steve Collins, Lloyd Hall, Glenton Powell, Yvonne Ruddock, Paul Ruddock).
