Press interview with Jack Wood, National Coal Board area manager, on the scrutiny of underground transport systems prior to the pit disaster at Bentley Colliery near Doncaster. Seven miners were killed in the accident (later named as: J Mitchell, R Aitcheson, K Green, G Henderson, M E Hickman, D Box, D R Hall).
