Description

Three Iranian patrol boats have been sunk by a US military helicopter patrolling international airspace over the Persian Gulf, after the helicopter was fired upon by three or four Iranian vessels. There are no US casualties; two of the three Iranian survivors found are seriously wounded. Male reporter or US forces spokesman(?) not identified in clip (poss. Fred Hoffman).
