Michael O’Neill reports on the debate around the forced repatriation of Hong Kong’s Vietnamese boat people. Rita Fan, Executive Council member, says the whole world is responsible, and Hong Kong has taken in as many Vietnamese as it can. Hoi Yin Fat, Social Services, fears violence but says there is no other way. Father Lewis Ha says the move is shameful and other options have not been looked at.
