Conservative MP, John Heddle, has been found dead in a car at a chalk pit near Canterbury. Heddle represented the constituency of Mid-Staffordshire, where he had a majority of nearly fifteen thousand. Police are now investigating the circumstances of his death. Jonathan Hunt reports; Heddle’s friend, Gordon McCabe pays tribute.
