Nezar Nawwaf al-Mansur al-Hindawi (or Nezar Hindawi) is a Jordanian who was found guilty of attempting to place a bomb on an El Al flight at Heathrow Airport, London, on April 17, 1986. Britain has severed diplomatic links with Syria, accused by British Foreign Secretary Geoffrey Howe of harbouring the criminal.
