Interview with Bernie Grant, Haringey Council leader, who says the young people of Tottenham had good reason for taking to the streets in the Broadwater Farm riots, sparked by the death of resident Cynthia Jarrett after a police raid on her home. He refuses to condemn the rioting on 06/10/85 as Labour Party MP Roy Hattersley has. Also criticises the policing of the estate and says the estate isn’t a no go area.
