- Description
- Oni Bhattacharya reports on the continuing ambulance dispute. Ambulance controllers in London claim that up to six lives a day are being lost because the system to send out information to the Police and Army is too slow. Staff at their Waterloo headquarters last night refused to work normally until calls could be put through to normal ambulance crews, because they feel that current arrangements are costing lives. Includes interviews with ambulance controllers including Pat Coyle(?); Simon Harding. Broadcast on the Brian Widlake breakfast programme.
