- Description
- Nigel Dearing reports on the repercussions of the ambulance workers’ dispute. Army ambulance crews have spent the night answering emergency calls across London. They were ordered onto the streets after both sides in the pay dispute failed to reach an agreement on reopening negotiations. The soldiers have had a steady stream of calls after responding to their first emergency when they took an injured man to hospital in Pinner. The dispute is due to be discussed in the House of Commons in a special debate. Includes interviews with Staff Sergeant Graham Nichols(?); Colonel David Whitfield; unidentified male soldier. Broadcast on LBC FM Breakfast.
