Observer Editor Donald Trelford on the paper’s journalist Farzad Bazoft who is being held in an Iraqi jail on charges of spying for Israel. Trelford dismisses claims Bazoft was recruited to the paper by the Israeli Secret Service; denounces Iraq’s appalling treatment of him; and on the great danger the Iranian born reporter is in.
