- Labour MP, Robert Hughes reacts to the news that the British Government has been selling oil to Rhodesia despite international sanctions. Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda is looking to sue the British Government and Hughes says the all-party talks in Rhodesia favoured by British Foreign Secretary David Owen are likely to be put back. He also says that the leaders of the South West African People’s Organisation in Namibia and the Patriotic Front in Rhodesia have decided that an arms struggle is the only way to remove the current regimes.
