Mike McDowall interviews Detective Superintendent Des Thomas at Lyndhurst police station, about the hunt for missing French student Celine Figard, who may have been abducted while hitchhiking on her way to spend Christmas with her cousin in the New Forest, Hampshire. She disappeared on Tuesday after accepting a lift from a lorry driver near Newbury in Berkshire and fears are growing for her safety. (Her body was later found and lorry driver Stuart Morgan charged with her murder). Telephone interview.
