Disgraced television preacher Jim Bakker finally learned his punishment yesterday - 45 years in prison and £300,000 in fines for swindling his followers of almost £2.5million. Bakker founded the PTL Ministry, Praise The Lord. He plans to appeal. Nick Peters reports from Washington including speech by Bakker when he was found guilty; Harold Bender, his lawyer; Jessica Haan, who had a affair with Bakker, says no amount of sentence is enough; Don Hardister, his former bodyguard, says Bakker has suicidal tendencies.
