Channel 4 has suspended plans to televise regular live broadcasts from the House of Commons because of restrictive regulations. Instead the channel will include occasional live coverage in news bulletins and parliamentary programmes. Margaret Shiels interviews the station’s director of programmes Liz Forgan on the decision.
