- Description
- The Director of Public Prosecutions will reveal this morning why the crown is throwing in the towel in the appeal case for the Guildford Four for IRA pub bombings 15 years ago which were based on false confessions extracted by police. In one of the most historic hearings ever, three of the appellants are expected to walk free. Paul Hill may have to remain in prison for another murder. Legal correspondent Tim Crook reports on the case and implications for the Maguire Seven.
