Description

The partner of imprisoned MP John Stonehouse, Sheila Buckley discusses Stonehouse’s declining health after he was declined parole. Stonehouse, who faked his own death before fleeing to Australia with Buckley, was imprisoned for fraud in 1976. While in prison Stonehouse suffered from a series of heart attacks and Buckley claims that he may not survive to see his next parole hearing in nine months’ time. Male interviewer not identified.
