John Alcock reports on a team of London fire fighters who are to travel to Armenia in the USSR to help rescue survivors of a recent earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale. The unit are to take special equipment including super sensitive microphones. Divisional officer Paul Quicke describes how the equipment works. Deputy chief fire officer, Mike Doherty(?) claims the scale of the operation may call for more men.
