Margaret Thatcher has criticised Wilfried Martens, Prime Minister of Belgium, over the Patrick Ryan affair. Belgium are unhappy with Britain’s response to their decision not to extradite Patrick Ryan, an IRA terrorist, to the UK but expel him back to Ireland. Martens says he would like to see common European rules on extradition. John Fraser reports.
