Description

Report on the South African authorities’ release of one of the most prominent political detainees being held under the state of emergency. Some two thousand people are currently being held, but among five people released today was the black newspaper editor , Zwelakhe Sisulu. Friend of Sisulu, Mohammed Vali describes his release as another form of incarceration. Nigel Wrench reports.
