Nick Peters interviews Paul Lunsford, Director of the State of South Carolina Emergency Centre, about the effects of Hurricane Hugo which has been lashing the eastern United States with 135 mile-per-hour winds. The coastline has been particularly battered and seven people are now reported dead but Lunsford says they have been lucky there were not more fatalities.
