- Relatives of the 31 victims of the Kings Cross disaster may now take out a private prosecution against London Underground for manslaughter. This follows the publication yesterday of the damning official report into the disaster, which found the Underground’s two top men, Sir Keith Bright and Dr Tony Ridley, guilty of mismanagement, complacency and confusion. Both have resigned. The MD of London Underground, Denis Tunnicliffe, and also Sophie Tarassenko, who chairs the Kings Cross Families Action Group, comment. Male reporter not identified.
