Father Denis Faul – most well known for his role in the 1981 hunger strike –condemns the IRA and its ongoing campaign of violence, speaking after the funeral of terrorist victim Francis Hughes. He urges Catholic people to turn upon the IRA and Protestants to do the same with their extremist group. He says the IRA are not representing the Catholic community but exploiting it.
