- Margaret Shiels reports on a memorial service at Southwark Cathedral for survivors and relatives of victims of the Marchioness Thames riverboat tragedy (20/08/89) given by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Robert Runcie. As a mark of respect for the dead, a special commemorative stone was laid in the cathedral.
