Interview with Agriculture Minister John Gummer. Follows the death by suffocation of 79 beagle pups on a ferry from Britain to Sweden. Gummer says he wants an urgent inquiry into what happened and if necessary the Government will prosecute. But he’s refusing to bow to RSPCA demands to outlaw the export of animals for research.
