Description

Simon Israel reports on the inquest in Nairobi, Kenya, into the death of British photographer Julie Ward (1988). Simon Makallah, chief warden of the Masai Maru game reserve, who is alleged to have masterminded the cover-up of her killing, is admitting he is facing theft, corruption and fraud charges. The warden was suspended shortly after finding the British woman’s remains. But he has told the inquest into her death that the charges have nothing to do with her killing.
