Helen Costello reports on the successful appeal of Winston Silcott against a life sentence for murdering PC Keith Blakelock during the 1985 Broadwater Farm riots in Tottenham, North London. The Court of Appeal decided on the basis of new evidence that his conviction was unsafe.
