Description

Mike Carlton interviews British businessman, Ian Richter, after his return to Britain following his surprise release after spending five years in an Iraqi jail. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1987 on charges of paying illegal commissions to the mayor of Baghdad. He pays tribute to his wife, Shirley Richter, for her resilience, and talks about his homecoming and imprisonment. Interviewed from the LBC radio car outside the family home in Kew, West London.
