Description
Carbon dating of the Turin Shroud has shown that it cannot have been the sheet in which the body of Christ was laid after crucifixion. Leader of the Oxford testing, Professor Teddy Hall revealed that it was woven between 1260 and 1390. The Catholic Church accepts the findings, but Cardinal Basil Hume maintains that it will make no difference to the Catholic faith. Peter Russell reports.
