- Sport for SportAid Limited - the commercial arm of the SportAid charity - has gone into liquidation owing millions of pounds. SportAid organiser Simon Dring blames the postal strike but creditors have been critical of the management, and John Alexander, representative for satellite company Brightstar (Bright Star?), says that money raised by the charity should be used to pay off Sport for SportAid Limited’s debts. Trustee and non-executive director of the charity, Bobby Charlton, expresses his regret and disappointment. Report by Michael O’Neill.
