Description
Margaret Shiels reports from Brixton in South London where three children and one woman have been killed after a wall collapsed on top of them after being hit by a lorry. Includes interviews with Inspector Dalton McConney; Patrick Nwigwe, eyewitness; Christian Kwei-Armah(?), eyewitness; Brian Wilkinson, fire officer. The dead were later named as Beverley Walsh, social worker; Nikki Croucher, 8; Sandra Croucher, 4; Mickey Croucher, 8. The children’s mother, Carole Croucher, and daughter Angela Croucher,9, escaped serious injury. The lorry driver, who also escaped serious injury, was later named as Michael Hill.
