- Description
- Eleanor Parkinson reports from Plymouth in Devon where a Canadian grandmother has been describing the challenges and dangers of a solo transatlantic yachting trip, which almost cost her her life (interview with Jane Weber). Jane set off from Rhode Island in good weather but ran into tropical storms and 15 foot waves. She was feared drowned after she lost radio contact but late last night her badly damaged yacht, Tilley Endurable, arrived at Plymouth.
