Chief Medical Officer Sir Donald Acheson on Government warnings to pregnant women to stay away from liver and liver products because of fears that its high vitamin A content may cause birth defects. They’re also calling on the farming industry to restrict the use of vitamin A in animal feeds and are approaching the EEC to do the same. Female interviewer not identified.
