Carmen Proetta was witness to the deaths of three IRA terrorists - Danny McCann, Sean Savage and Mairead Farrell – who were shot dead in Gibraltar by SAS soldiers. In the television documentary, Death on the Rock, Proetta claimed that the terrorists were shot as they raised their hands in surrender - a statement which is disputed by her husband and which she has since modified. Here she recounts what she wit nessed and reveals the negative impact her testimony has had on her life. Kevin Murphy reports.
