Junior doctor and part-time comedian Phil Hammond is contesting Bristol West constituency against Health Secretary William Waldegrave in protest over doctors’ working conditions. He tells Rebecca Broxton the British Medical Association only look after themselves, Virginia Bottomley plans are a step in the right direction but there will be more industrual action if there is not more done.
