- Description
- Margaret Shiels reports on the end of a series of wildcat strikes on London Underground. Strikes organisers have said there will be no more stoppages but they are calling for senior union officials to resign over the acceptance of a pay deal which means a rise of seven pounds a week. The tube drivers had been asking for a sixty-four pounds a week pay rise. It has been claimed that one senior union official has been forced to resign. Includes vox pop with tube drivers.
