Interview with Michael Stephen MP, Vice- Chairman of the Conservative backbench Home Affairs Committee about the publication of an official biography of alleged mass murderer, Fred West, including details from police interviews before West committed suicide in prison. Rights to the book were sold by official solicitor, Peter Harris, who took charge of West’s estate because he died without having made a will. The book will be written by Geoffrey Wansell. Michael Stephen is calling for new rules to prevent similar publications appearing in future.
