Extract from an interview with physicist, Professor Joseph Rotblat, on the announcement from Oslo in Norway, that he and his London-based organisation Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, have won the Nobel Peace Prize for 1995. The prize was awarded for his research into the effects of nuclear weapons and the group’s efforts towards nuclear disarmament. Professor Rotblat says he is delighted and hopes winning the Prize will help continue their work. Interviewer not heard.
