Description

Interview with Nicholas Finney, director of the National Association of Port Employers, about the three-week-old docks strike. The original reason for the dispute - the scrapping of the National Docks Labour Scheme - has been pushed into the background as the TGWU fights over men sacked during the dispute. However, Finney says the employers’ patience is running thin, and if the strike continues more sackings can be expected. Male interviewer not identified.
