Description

Peter Kimber reports on a news conference (with excerpts) at Beirut Airport featuring Allyn Conwell, spokesman for hostages being held in Beirut from TWA Flight 847 which was hijacked by Lebanese Shia Islamists on 14/06/85. He makes a plea to US President Ronald Reagan to refrain from any military action to free them and to Israel to release political prisoners as demanded by the hijackers. The other hostage who is heard is Peter Hill.
