Description

Paul Taylor reports on trip to Paris by President Mobutu of Zaire to thank the French for intervention by paratroopers in areas where rebels had taken over and were killing Europeans, also to ask for foreign aid for the troubled country. Rebel action has stopped production in copper and cobalt mines which were the country’s main source of income.
