Interview with the head of the BMA’s Ethics Committee, Dr Fleur Fisher, about a case at Bourn Hall Clinic in Cambridge, where doctors are planning to help a Black woman give birth by using an egg from a White woman. The Black woman can’t have children of her own but wants a test-tube baby to resemble her mixed-race husband. Fisher says the case in Cambridge has opened up a Pandora’s box.
