- Ian Fenn reports on a proposed project in London to restore the Albert Memorial in Kensington.The Chancellor of the Exchequer gave the financial go-ahead in his Autumn Budget allocating a total of £4million to the restoration work over the next 3 years. Englsih Heritage will add £1million but the total cost is expected to be £10million. Includes interviews with Hedley Pavett, architect on the work required; William Filmer-Sankey, director of the Victorian Society on why it should be saved.
